Mike Berberich (BRBRCK, pronounced bur-bur-rock) is a genre-bending hip-hop songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York, where he writes and produces all of his own music. His live shows are an explosion of energy, with a full band backing the MC as he weaves his witty sense of humor through a nonstop barrage of spitfire wordplay and brass-knuckle punchlines. He has collaborated with a diverse group of artists, including jazz bassist Felix Pastorius (Jeff Coffin Mu'tet), Anna Morsett (The Still Tide), and dozens of local musicians, MCs, and producers. BRBRCK released his second full-length album, BACKSTAGE in June 2016.

Created entirely in a half-bedroom-sized home studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, BRBRCK’s self-produced BACKSTAGE pulls back the curtain on the life of the urban artist. Sarcastic yet genuine in his lyrics, BRBRCK embraces his dreams and insecurities and splashes them over lush, dynamic beats he produced with the iLL harmonic, a cohort of New York City musicians whose influences span from experimental jazz to classical, from folk to funk.
